Grades

μK20

TiAlN

  • Best universal grade
  • First choice for steel, stainless steel, and titanium alloys machining
  • Very good heat resistance

TiAlX

  • Very wear-resistant and high-temperature resistant grade. Recommended for following material : Inox 304, 316L, 317L, 904, Phynox

• alloy steel containing: Chrome-nickel, Vanadium, Molybdenum, …

TiN

  • Grade for the machining of low resistance materials, which causes edge build-up
  • Very low friction ratio
  • Not suitable for titanium machining

ST

  • Wear and temperature-resistant grade. Recommended for the following materials: Inox, titanium alloys, nickel-based alloys, chrome-cobalt, and materials harder than > 50 HRC

N

  • suitable for interrupted cuts and other unfavourable machining conditions

Grades - μK10 - μK20

μK10 – μK20

KCR

  • Specific grade for non-ferrous materials such as copper, brass, lead-free brass, bronze, and nickel silver
  • Reduces sticking. Alternative to DLC coatings for certain applications

KCRF

  • A specific grade for non-ferrous materials such as copper, brass, lead-free brass, bronze, and nickel silver
  • reduces sticking. Alternative to DLC coatings for certain applications

KST

  • Grade with excellent wear resistance and toughness properties. Recommended for the following materials: Inox, titanium alloys, nickel-based alloys, chrome-cobalt, and materials harder than > 50 HRC

KN

  • micro-grain grade, combining excellent wear resistance with good toughness.
  • Recommended for machining materials that do not require any coating, such as pure titanium.

Grades - μK10

μK10

HTA

  • Very wear-resistant grade
  • For light machining of steel, stainless steel, and titanium alloys under favourable machining conditions

HTAX

  • Very wear-resistant and high-temperature resistant grade, for light machining of small parts with low cutting feed. Recommended for the following material: Inox 304, 316L, 317L, 904, Phynox

HCR-TF

  • Specific grade for non-ferrous materials such as copper, brass, lead-free brass, bronze, and nickel silver.
Reduces sticking. Alternative to DLC coatings for certain applications

HTiN

  • Grade for light machining of low resistance materials, which causes edge build-up
  • very low friction ratio
  • Not suitable for titanium machining

HAC

  • Grade non-ferrous materials
  • Very low fiction ratio
  • First choice for aluminium up to 5% Si, copper, and low alloyed titanium

HN

  • Wear-resistant micro-grain grade
  • Suitable for the machining of low-alloyed titanium
  • Not suitable for interrupted cut
